Aims

This project aims to develop a package of appropriate, effective and sustainable tools for Local Infrastrcuture Agencies in the UK to manage their internal and external commnuications needs based aorund the CiviCRM system

Objectives

ti will achieve this by:

  • Identifying the requirments of LIOs
  • Developing CiviCRM as a solution to these requirements
  • Providing speficiations and planning tools to assist implementation
  • Networking suppliers and users of CiviCRM into a support ecosystem

Context

There are a number of database systems which are targeted at the voluntary sector in the UK. We believe that CiviCRM provides a cost-effective, robust and sustainable solution to the needs of LIOs and that by working together, the benefits of CiviCRM may be maximised for the benefit of the third sector.

These pages have been created collaboratively by a range of LIOs, UK based non-profit ICT professionals, and the CiviCRM team.  They are hosted here to ensure the best fit with the CiviCRM framework, and to ensure maximum benefits for wider CiviCRM community.  For more general information on CiviCRM: http://civicrm.orgIf you are wondering what an LIO is, see here for a list of LIOs in the UK. http://www.navca.org.uk/liodir.

If there is anything missing from these pages, please tell us by adding a comment at the bottom of the page, or editing the page yourself.
