A Resource that is subject to a Workflow assumes various states during it's lifetime.
The obvious states for a resource are:
- new
- accepted
- published
- expired
- hidden
The ways in which the state may be changed is defined by the Resource state transitions that are part of the Workflow definition.
The state is related to Security concern and defines the required permissions that can be used to check access rights by Security helper in particular state of the Resource.
