Description
The resource navigation screen always works in the context of a High level resource, which is the System, an Organization or a Site. The users navigates to the resource navigation screen for a particular high level resource from his Dashboard.
The resource navigation screen has the following key components:
- in the top area
- an information bar that contains Breadcrumbs location information, back to Dashboard link, current user information and profile edit link, and a logout link.
- in the left hand area
- a box that spells out the currently selected Medium level resource (corresponding to Cyklotron 1 sub-application) in it's heading, and a list of Low level resources. In some situations the list may be split between this box and the resource manipulation view part. Visual cue about currently selected low level resource should be given (if none is selected, the medium level resource should be cued itself)
- a box listing operations available on the currently selected low level resource (or medium level resource if none selected)
- a box listing Clipboard operations available on the currenlty selected low level resource. If none are applicable, the box will be empty or hidden. Possible operations include:
- cut
- copy
- paste (copying)
- paste (moving)
- clear clipboard
- a box listing currently unselected Medium level resources
- in the right hand area
- a View part that is specific to the operation currently performed on the selected medium or low level resource. When no particular operation is performed, and the Resource class does not declare a specific Resource properties view, Uniform resource properties view is displayed.
